We are thrilled that we've been chosen to receive a Rabbit Stop Grant supporting our Spay/Neuter Program! Because of the increasing cost of spays and neuters, and the number of babies we've taken in recently, the grant could not have come at a better time.

Once caught up, each and every rabbit will be fixed immediately upon entering the rescue. In addition to the usual reasons to spay and neuter, we believe that sterilizing the rabbits immediately upon intake has a significant impact on averting potential health problems, facilitating adoptions, and reducing stress on the rabbits and their caretakers, while the rabbits are still in rescue.

Our mission is fivefold; it encompasses rescue, adoption, health, education, and fiscal responsibility. Part of our mission is "to ensure that each rescued rabbit is spayed or neutered, health permitting." The Rabbit Stop Grant helps us fulfill this part of our mission, for which we are truly grateful.
